Tapasmanna

Tapasmanna is located on Mandvi Lakshmi Layout Road, right in the GB Palya area. If you know where Matha School is, we are basically right behind it on the ground floor of Janak Niwas. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. The street gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, especially in the afternoons. Living and working here means you hear the kids from the school during their break times, which is actually kind of nice. It gives the place some life. The ground floor stays a bit cooler during the summer, which is a relief. We spend most of our time just keeping things running. It’s a small team, really just a couple of us making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. Janak Niwas is a sturdy old building. It’s seen a lot of people come through over the years. We try to keep our space tidy, though with all the paperwork it’s a bit of a challenge. There’s a tea stall just down the road that makes the best ginger tea, and that’s usually where we end up around four o’clock. It’s not a complicated life here. We just show up, do the tasks on the list, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a decent place to be.
