Ssm Seva Foundation

Ssm Seva Foundation is located right here in Khambal village. We work out of the home of Harish Rawal, who is the son of Ugamraj Rawal. It’s a family-oriented kind of setup, very much a part of the local village life. Khambal is a small place, so everybody knows everybody, which makes our work a bit more personal. We don’t have a staff of fifty people. It’s just us and whoever from the village wants to lend a hand that day. We started this because we saw things in the village that could use some attention. Whether it’s helping a family out or organizing a small local event, we just try to be useful. The address is simple—just at the post in Khambal—and that’s how we like to keep things. No big signs, no flashy lights. Just a group of people trying to do some seva. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run out of time or resources, but we keep going. If you come by the village, you’ll find us easily enough. We usually have some tea going and a lot of talk about what needs to happen next. It’s not a fancy foundation by any means, but it belongs to this village and the people living here. We’re just local folks doing local things for the right reasons. We aren't looking for awards, just looking to help our neighbors when they need a hand.
