S.R.Padhiyar Provision Store

S.R.Padhiyar Provision Store is located right in the middle of Sardar Bazar in the city of Vadodara. We are very near the Main Bazar area, which is always filled with people out doing their shopping. Being in the 390001 area means that we see all different types of customers every day. Our main focus is on provision items, which means we carry everything from grains and pulses to different types of cooking oils. The shop itself is not fancy at all. It is more of an old-fashioned store where we still weigh out many items for you by hand. We have been at this location for a long time, and while the building might show its age a little bit, it is still a sturdy and reliable place. I spend most of my day standing behind the old counter. We do not use any high-tech computer systems here, just a simple calculator and a few pens to keep track of things. Many people come in to get their supplies for the whole month. Sometimes the big crowds from the Main Bazar area spill over onto our street. It gets very noisy with all the scooters and the rickshaws passing by, but we do not really mind the noise. We just stay focused on our work and helping the people who come in. We know most of our regular customers very well. It is just a simple way to live and work.
