Spicy Shop & General Store

Our place, Spicy Shop & General Store, is located at S-B-4 on Gotri Road, right near M G Road. We opened up because we saw that families around here needed a spot to pick up their daily essentials without a lot of fuss. We carry all the usual stuff like flour, oil, soaps, and of course, a good variety of spices that give the shop its name. The smell of ground cumin and chili is usually the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a pretty simple setup. We have shelves lining the walls and a counter where we catch up with the neighbors while we bag their groceries. Gotri Road is always busy, so we get a lot of people stopping in on their way home from work. We aren't a big supermarket with bright lights and fancy carts. We’re just a local general store where we know which brand of tea you prefer. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we run out of something, but we always try to get it back in stock by the next day. It’s just a few of us running the show here, making sure the floor is swept and the shelves stay full. We like being part of the daily routine for the people living nearby. It’s not glamorous, but it’s a good life serving the community. We just keep the doors open and the spices fresh.
