Silver Restaurant

You can find Silver Restaurant over in the Silver Coine Complex in the Makarpura area of Vadodara. We are right opposite the Bhavan School and the Makarpura Police Chowki. It is a very active part of town because of the students and the police station nearby. We see the kids walking to school every morning while we are setting up the chairs and cleaning the front windows. The complex has other shops too, so there are always people moving around the courtyard. Our spot is pretty easy to find once you get to the police chowki. We aren't a big chain or anything like that, just a local restaurant where we do all the cooking ourselves. The kitchen gets hot in the afternoons, but we are used to it by now. We try to keep things simple with the menu and the way the room looks. There are no complicated themes here. We just want to make sure the food is hot and the place is welcoming for whoever walks in. Sometimes the teachers from the school come over for a quick bite during their break. We have been in this complex for a few years and have seen the neighborhood change a bit, but we stay the same. It’s a lot of work to keep a restaurant going, but we like being part of the Makarpura community. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
