Shri Hari Provision Stores

Shri Hari Provision Stores is tucked away in Amarkrupa Society, right in the Murtidham area of Vadodara. It’s a decent spot, though finding parking on the street can be a bit of a headache for some people. We’ve been running the place for quite a stretch now, and the routine is pretty much the same every single day. I wake up, head over, and start checking what’s left on the shelves from the day before. Dealing with provisions means you’re always counting bags and making sure nothing is getting dusty in the corners. Vadodara is a busy city, but inside the society, it feels a bit calmer. We get a lot of regular families who have been buying from us since we first opened the doors. I don’t use any fancy computer systems or anything; I just keep track of things in my head and a ledger when I have to. Sometimes the rain gets a bit much and we have to move the sacks further back so they stay dry. It’s just a part of the job that you don't really think about after a while. Most of the time, I’m just chatting with someone about the weather while I weigh out some rice or sugar for them. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but that’s just how the shop runs. We keep it simple and just do our bit.
