Shree Krishna Stores

You can find Shree Krishna Stores right on Ashram Road in Vadodara. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here for a good while. The shop is filled with all the usual things you’d expect. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place where you can get what you need without any fuss. The windows get dusty pretty quick from the traffic, so we have to wipe them down more often than we’d like. We have a small radio that usually plays some old songs in the background. It keeps us company during the slow hours in the afternoon. Most of our customers are people living nearby or workers stopping by on their way home. We know who wants what before they even say it most of the time. The space is a bit tight, especially when a new shipment comes in and there are boxes everywhere. We just work around it. Sometimes we run out of things and have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It happens. We aren't a big supermarket, just a local store trying to keep up with the day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning to night. We like the rhythm of this street even when it gets too loud with all the horns and bikes. It's just home for us and our small business.
