Shree Asha Handicraft

Shree Asha Handicraft is located at shop number 1 in the Banis Complex here in Vadodara. Our shop is packed with all kinds of handmade items. We have things made of wood, cloth, and clay everywhere you look. It is a small space, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk in. We spend our time unpacking new items and arranging them on the shelves. Most of what we sell comes from people who make things by hand in their own homes. We don't have a big warehouse or a website. We just have this one shop in Banis Complex. It’s a quiet place most of the time. We sit near the door and wait for people to come by and browse. Sometimes we spend the afternoon cleaning the dust off the smaller carvings. Vadodara has a lot of history with crafts, and we are just one small part of it. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just tell people where the item came from if they ask us. Being at number 1 makes us the first shop people see when they enter our section of the complex. We’ve been here for a good while and we know the other shopkeepers around us. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day among things that people have worked hard to create. We just keep things running one day at a time.
