You can find us at Sb-6 Niharika-1, which is right behind the Alkapuri Petrol Pump on R.C. Dutt Road. It’s a nice area, a bit tucked away from the main noise of the street traffic. We deal in handicrafts, mostly things made by hand from different parts of the region like pottery, cloth, and carvings. The shop is filled with all sorts of items, and it’s a bit packed in here, to be honest. We try to keep it organized, but when new stock arrives, there are cardboard boxes everywhere for a few days. We started this business because we liked the things local artisans were making in their villages. It’s not like the stuff you get in a big mall. Everything here has a bit of character, maybe a stitch that isn't perfectly straight or a bit of wood that has a natural knot in it. We spend our days unpacking things, talking to people who walk in, and making sure everything looks okay on the wooden shelves. It’s a quiet life for the most part. Sometimes tourists find us because of the petrol pump landmark nearby. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know where every little thing is kept. It’s a bit dusty because of all the fabric and wood shavings, but we don't really mind. We just like having these things around and sharing them with whoever stops by Alkapuri to look around for something unique.
