Bodhi Handicraft is tucked away at 889/4 in Vadsar. We are right by the Japan Market near Delhi Gate. It’s a very old and busy part of the city. There is always a lot of noise and energy coming from the market. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. You’ll see boxes stacked up in the corners and items waiting to be moved. We have a small counter where we talk to people. The walls have some shelves that we put up ourselves. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a place where things are made and sold without much fuss. The Japan Market is a great place to be because there are always people walking past our door. Sometimes the dust from the street gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the surfaces. We have a ceiling fan that hums quite a bit during the hot months. Most of the people who come in are locals or people who have been told about us by their friends. We don't do any big advertising. We just open up in the morning and see who comes by. It’s a bit crowded inside, but it feels cozy to us. We’ve been at this Delhi Gate location for years. The stone floor is worn down in the spots where we stand the most. That’s just how a working shop looks to us anyway.
