We have been set up here at Goverdhan Park Soc-1 for a good while now. It’s right near Nathiba Nagar Soc-1 on Harni Road in Vadodara. Our workshop isn't very fancy but it gets the job done. Most days you’ll find us surrounded by materials and tools. We are Orbit Artisans and we just focus on making things. The neighborhood is usually busy with people going to work. Sometimes the traffic on Harni Road gets loud but we don’t mind it much. My father started working with his hands and we just kept it going here. The office is at C/78 and it stays a bit messy with all the sketches and scraps. We have a few guys who come in early to start the work. We drink a lot of tea while we figure out how to put things together. It’s honest work and we like being in this part of Gujarat. People stop by to ask questions or just to see what we are making that week. We don’t have a big sign or anything like that. Just the address and our tools. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside for a bit. It’s a simple life running a business in Vadodara. We focus on the craft and try to keep our customers happy without any big promises. That’s just how we do things here every day in the shop.
