Shivam Flour Industries

Shivam Flour Industries is based out at Plot No. 20-A in the Raj Industrial Park 3. We are located right along the Jaroda Savli Highway near the village of Karachiya. It is a fairly busy industrial area with lots of trucks and noise throughout the day. Inside our unit, we have machines that are usually running all day long, grinding down different grains into flour. It gets quite loud in there and there is always a thin layer of white dust on just about every surface, no matter how often we try to sweep it up. We take in grains from various local sources and spend our hours checking the grinders and filling up heavy sacks. It is physically demanding work, and the heat in Savli can make the afternoons feel very long. We have been in this spot for a while and have become part of the local industrial scene. There is nothing very exciting to look at here, just rows of machinery and stacks of bags waiting to be moved out. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the flour comes out right. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on, which is just how things are here. We are just a regular business trying to do our job and keep the local markets supplied with what they need.
