Shiv Shakti General Store

You can find us at Shop No 8 in the Arti Plaza Complex. This is on Vasna Road in Vadodara. Shiv Shakti General Store is right near the Krishna Dham Society and across from the Dwarkesh Complex. It’s a good spot because a lot of families live around here. They come in for their daily milk or to pick up some spices they ran out of while cooking dinner. The shop is mostly shelves from floor to ceiling. I have a long stick with a hook on the end to reach the items on the top shelf. It’s a bit of a trick to get a box of cereal down without dropping it. The floor is made of grey stone and it stays cool in the summer. We have a small desk where I keep the accounts and a calculator that is missing a button. It doesn't matter though, I know how to use it. The area is quite nice, but the traffic on Vasna Road can be a bit much in the evenings. We see a lot of the same faces every day. It’s nice to know the people who live in the apartments nearby. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. We just open the doors and make sure we have enough stock for the next day. It’s just a local general store where we work hard and keep things moving.
