Shilp

Shilp is based out at Satguru Farm, right near the Mahapura Sevasi Motor Market. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city of Vadodara, so the atmosphere is quite different here. The motor market is always busy with people dealing in cars and parts, so there’s a lot of energy nearby, but the farm area itself can be peaceful at times. Our building is very simple and functional. We don't have any polished floors or bright lights; it’s more of a practical workspace for us. We’ve been here for a while and have settled into a good routine. The road out to Sevasi can be a bit bumpy and dusty, especially during the dry season, but we don't mind it much. We usually get customers who are already visiting the motor market or people who live in the surrounding villages. It’s not the kind of place where people just wander in by accident. You have to know we are here. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing our name and the work we do. It’s a quiet life compared to the shops in the middle of town. We open up in the morning and work through the day, mostly just talking to the people who stop by. It’s a good spot for us and we plan to stay here at the farm for a long time.
