Satyavijay Farsan

Satyavijay Farsan is our small shop on Palace Road, just off Old Padra Road. We have been here for a long time, making snacks every single day. The morning starts very early for us, usually before the sun is even up, so we can get the frying done. The smell of hot oil and gram flour is just part of our lives now. We make things like sev, gathiya, and different types of mixtures. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or a big seating area. It’s just a counter where people come to get their daily snacks. Sometimes we get really busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. The traffic on Palace Road can be quite loud, and it gets a bit dusty, but we try to keep everything covered and clean. We don't have a big team or a marketing person. It’s just us doing the work. Sometimes the batches don't come out perfectly, maybe a bit too salty or not crunchy enough, but we try our best to keep things consistent. We use old recipes that have been around for years. We don't spend money on fancy packaging either, just simple bags that do the job. It’s a bit of a struggle when the prices of oil and flour go up, but we just keep going. It’s an honest way to make a living and we know our neighbors well.
