Shalimar Crackers

Shalimar Crackers is situated in Pratap Nagar 1. It is a basic building that we use mostly for storing and selling. The inside is filled with rows of shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We keep everything in boxes, and it can be a bit of a maze if you don't know where things are kept. We have a small desk near the entrance where we sit and wait for customers. There is a heavy iron shutter at the front that we pull up every morning. Pratap Nagar is a busy area, but our street is a little quieter, which is good for loading the vehicles. We spend a lot of our time checking the stock and making sure everything is dry and safe. It’s a seasonal kind of place, so some months are much busier than others. When it’s quiet, we spend time cleaning the shelves or fixing the lights. We have a big calendar on the wall where we mark the important dates. We don't really do much in terms of fancy displays; people come to us because they know we have what they are looking for. It’s a simple business, and we have been in this spot for a good while. We drink our tea outside on the steps when the weather is nice. We just try to keep things organized and handle the daily tasks as they come.
