Healthy Khakhara

We are located in the Makarpura area, right near the Vadsar Bridge. If you are standing opposite the Yashwant Stadium in Dhantoli, you are pretty much looking at where we do our work. Healthy Khakhara is a small operation, mostly focused on getting the textures and flavors right for the snacks we make every day. The smell of roasted flour usually fills the whole street in the mornings. It’s a busy neighborhood, especially when there is something happening at the stadium, and we see a lot of people passing by our door. We don't use any fancy automated lines or big industrial robots. It’s mostly hand-work and small roasters that have been with us since we started. The kitchen is always warm, and there’s a lot of chatter among the staff while they work. We try to keep things as clean and simple as possible. We don't spend money on big colorful signs or expensive marketing campaigns. Most people just know us because they live nearby or they’ve tried our khakhara at a friend's house. It’s a local business through and through. We usually wrap things up by late afternoon so we can get the deliveries out before the evening traffic starts building up around the bridge. It’s a good life, and we enjoy being a part of the Dhantoli community. We often give some of the broken pieces to the kids who stop by after school on their way home.
