Our shop is right on the Asoj Akurli Road, just across from the Khanderu Market. It’s a spot that really comes alive when the festivals are approaching. Most of the year, we are busy organizing the warehouse and making sure everything is stored safely. Firecrackers are a tricky business, so we have to be very careful with how we handle the stock. The Raus Mahal Road area gets really packed with shoppers, especially in the evenings. We spend a lot of time counting boxes and checking labels to make sure we have enough variety for everyone. It’s a family-run sort of thing, and we’ve been doing this for a long time. The shop itself is quite plain, with heavy shutters and plenty of shelf space for the different types of crackers. We don’t really do much advertising; people just know where we are because we’ve been here so long. Dealing with the heat and the dust from the road is just part of the daily life here. Sometimes we have long days where we don't even get a chance to sit down because of the crowd. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets what they came for. It's loud, it's busy, and it can be quite stressful during the peak season, but we manage it one day at a time. The location near the market helps a lot with visibility and getting the heavy trucks unloaded.
