I've been at Akota 106 for a while now. Satvik Foods started because I wanted to see better food options around here. People come in, they grab what they need, and we have a chat. It’s not a big fancy operation. We mostly handle the day-to-day stuff, making sure the shelves are stocked and the floors are clean. Some days are busier than others, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to work. I usually get here early to check the inventory. It’s just how things are done. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us working through the orders. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, and we have to scramble a bit, but we get it sorted. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need. Neighbors stop by even if they aren't buying anything, just to say hi. That's the best part of being in this spot. We keep things simple. If something is out of stock, we try to get it back in as soon as the supplier shows up. It's a lot of manual work, lifting crates and labeling things. My hands are usually tired by the end of the day. But that’s the job. We've been here long enough that most faces are familiar. It's just a regular shop doing its thing every day. No big secrets or anything. Just hard work. We stay open until late, then go home.
