Plot No 702 in the GIDC Estate at Manjusar is where you’ll find us. It’s quite a busy area, being part of Savli, and having Gurukrupa Farm right nearby gives it a bit of a different feel than a pure industrial zone. At Roast Bite Food Product Company, things are usually pretty hectic. There’s always the smell of something being processed in the air. We spend most of our hours watching the temperature gauges and making sure the batches don't sit too long. The workers here have been with us for a bit, so they know the routine. It’s not a quiet place by any means. You’ve got the hum of the cooling units and the sound of packing tapes being pulled all day. We deal with a lot of local suppliers and some from further out too. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the ledgers and answer the phone when it rings, which is often. Most people find us because they saw the trucks turning in near the farm. It gets a bit crowded when two lorries try to get into the plot at the same time. We just try to get the product out the door without too much fuss. It's a straightforward business, nothing too complicated about it. We just show up, do the roasting and packing, and go home when the sun goes down. The smell of the roasting can be quite strong depending on the wind.
