Dhruv Snack Point

You can find us at plot 922/11 in the Makarpura GIDC Estate. Dhruv Snack Point is where we spend most of our hours every single day. Being in an industrial estate means we see a lot of the same faces from the nearby factories and workshops. It gets very busy around lunchtime when everyone is looking for something to eat. We start early in the morning to get things ready before the first shift starts. The space is basic. We have our cooking area and some spots for people to stand or sit while they eat. It is often hot because of the stoves and the local weather, but we are used to it by now. The floor is concrete and we keep it as clean as we can with so many people moving through. We don't have a big menu. We just make what people like and try to keep the prices fair. There is always a lot of noise from the trucks and machinery in the GIDC area. Sometimes we run out of certain items before the day is over. That is just how it is when things are moving fast. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big marketing plan. We just open the shutters and start cooking. It’s a lot of hard work but it keeps us busy and the local workers know where to find a quick bite. We enjoy the rush and the familiar people.
