Rinku Provision Stores

We are located on Dabhoi Road in Uma Nagar, Vadodara. Rinku Provision Stores is just a basic neighborhood shop. I started it because there weren't many places nearby to get daily groceries at the time. We stock stuff like flour, oil, spices, and cleaning supplies. The shop is on the ground floor and it stays quite cool even in the summer heat of Gujarat. I spend most of my day sitting behind the wooden counter, waiting for customers. Usually, it's the ladies from the surrounding houses who come in during the afternoon. We talk about the weather or the price of vegetables while I weigh out the lentils. Everything is kept in jars and sacks. It's not very organized, but I can find anything you ask for in a few seconds. My kids sometimes come after school and try to help, but they mostly just eat the snacks. We don't have any big advertisements. People just know we are here. If someone is short on cash, I sometimes write it down in the credit book and they pay me next month. That’s how things work in a place like this. The road outside can get a bit dusty with all the traffic going towards Dabhoi, but inside it’s quiet enough. It’s just a way to make an honest living and serve the people around Uma Nagar. Nothing more to it.
