Rasanand Sweet Home

Our place is Rasanand Sweet Home and we are located in the Vadodara Nalasopara 12 area. It’s a bit of a mix here, but we’ve made our spot work for us. Making sweets is what we do every day. We spend a lot of time boiling down milk and stirring large pots with heavy paddles. It’s a lot of physical labor that people don’t always see when they look at the display. The shop itself is pretty straightforward. We have the glass cases for the sweets and a small area in the back for the actual work. We don't have a fancy website or a social media person. We just rely on the people who live nearby and walk past our door. Sometimes we try a new recipe if we feel like it, but mostly we stick to the ones that have worked for years. Vadodara is a place where people really appreciate their sweets, so we try not to let them down. It can be stressful when we have big orders for weddings or parties and the deadline is close, but we just put our heads down and get it done. The floor can get a bit sticky by the end of the shift, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up at night before we go home. It’s just us here, making sure everything is ready for the next morning. It’s a simple business without any big corporate talk.
