Out here in Valpura, things are a lot different than in the big cities. We are located in the Naswadi area, specifically at the Eklavya Vyayamshala. It’s basically a local gym or training center. Being in Chhotaudepur means we are surrounded by a lot of hills and open space. Our office is just a small room within the Vyayamshala complex. You can often hear the sounds of people exercising or kids running around nearby. It’s a very active place. We don't have air conditioning or fancy office chairs. We sit on wooden benches or plastic chairs and get to work. The air is dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the fields. Most of our work involves meeting with the local villagers and talking about their needs. We don't have a website with flashy photos; we just have our ledger books and a few pens. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside under a tree and continue our talk. It’s a very basic way of living and working, but it suits the area. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to help our community here in Naswadi. It’s a long way from the corporate offices of Vadodara, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our focus on the people who live around here and the simple tasks we have to finish each day.
