Ramesh General Stores

Ramesh General Stores is located right in the Main Bazar area of Vadodara. If you know where Dayal Medical Store is, we are just near that spot. The bazar is always crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. My father started this place, and I have been sitting here for years. We sell all the small stuff you might forget to buy elsewhere. Buttons, thread, snacks, and basic household items are what we stock most. The shop is small and sometimes gets a bit cluttered, but we know exactly where everything is kept. If you ask for something, I can usually find it in a few seconds. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part of being in the market. We have a small fan that keeps us going. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby and do not want to go to the big supermarkets. They prefer coming here because it is quick and they can just chat for a bit. We do not have a website or anything like that. This is just a regular local shop in a busy part of town. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the roads are narrow, but we manage. It is a good life being part of the community here. We see the same people every single day. The work is hard but it keeps us connected to the neighborhood.
