Radha Krishna Sweet & Namkeen

We have been running this shop at Vadsar J C Road 3 for quite a while now. It is a busy little spot and we spend most of our time in the back making different kinds of sweets and namkeen. Every morning starts early with the smell of sugar and ghee filling up the whole place. It can get pretty chaotic here, especially when festivals come around and everyone is looking for their favorite mithai to take home. We just try our best to keep everything fresh and the counters full. It is mostly just us family members doing the work. We do not have a big office or anything fancy like that. There is just the kitchen where we cook and the front area where we talk to the people who stop by. Some come in for a quick snack while others need big boxes for weddings. We see a lot of the same faces every single week. Sometimes a batch of sweets turns out a bit different because the weather affects the syrup or the dough, but that is just how it goes with handmade food. We keep the place as clean as we can, even though things get messy when we are frying snacks all afternoon. If you are walking down Vadsar J C Road, you probably know where we are already. We do not do much on the internet. We are usually too busy making sure the laddoos are shaped right.
