Pavan Dham Society

Pavan Dham Society is located at B-79 in the Bhavani Society area of Baroda. This is right in the heart of Gujarat, and it has the feel of a real neighborhood rather than a cold business district. We work out of the B-79 address. It is a simple place. We handle the day-to-day things for the society and the local residents from here. Sometimes the job is about fixing a broken water line, and other times it is just talking to the neighbors about the gates or the common lights in the evening. It is not a high-stress environment, but there is always something small that needs our attention. You get to know everyone by their first name when you have been here long enough. Baroda is a good city for this kind of work because it is not too fast and not too slow. We keep our records in some old ledgers and on a computer now, though the paper ledgers still feel more reliable to us. There is a small tree out front where we sit when it gets too hot to stay inside the office. We do not have a fancy website or any marketing people. We just exist here and do the work that needs doing for the people in the society. Residents walk by and wave, or they stop in for a quick chat. It is practical work and it is not always perfectly organized, but it gets done.
