Our office is actually tucked away in the Milestone Residency, specifically at B-401 on Wasna Bhayli Road. It is a bit of a different setup than what people expect for a milling company. Most of the heavy work happens out where the cotton is, but this is where we handle the books and the phone calls. The commute through Vasva Road can get a bit slow in the afternoons, especially when school lets out. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and talking to the site managers on their mobile phones. It is not always the most exciting work, but Padmavati Grinning Mills Pvt. Ltd. keeps us all pretty busy throughout the week. Sometimes we have clients stop by the residency to drop off papers or discuss the latest harvest. We usually have some tea going and just sit around the table to figure things out. It gets a little cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. Living and working in the same general area means we know the neighborhood pretty well. The building itself is easy to find once you are on the right part of Wasna Bhayli Road. We aren't some giant corporation with a glass skyscraper; we are just a small group of people trying to keep the business running smoothly from this apartment unit. It works for us, and it’s been this way for a while now.
