Om Kheteshwar Sweets

Our shop, Om Kheteshwar Sweets, is located in Vadodara, though our address mentions Dariapur Ahmedabad 27. It can be a bit confusing for some, but we’re easy to find once you know the area. We’ve been working out of this space for some time now. Every morning is a bit of a rush to get the sweets prepared. We use a lot of traditional methods, which means there’s a lot of stirring and watching the pots. It’s not something you can hurry along if you want it to turn out right. The shop usually smells like cardamom and sugar by mid-morning. We don’t have a massive selection, but we try to have what people usually ask for. It’s a practical setup with simple glass cases and a few stools. The street outside is always busy, so there’s a lot of dust and noise, but we try to keep our little corner as tidy as we can. We aren't looking to expand into some big chain; we’re quite happy right here in our current spot. It’s a lot of long hours, especially during the holidays when everyone wants something special for their home. But we just take it one customer at a time. It’s just us, the sweets, and the people who come in to buy them. No fancy words are needed for that. We just do the work and hope people find what they like. That is pretty much our daily life here.
