Navrang Bhajiya House

Navrang Bhajiya House is located at 12th Cross M C Layout in A Dasarahalli, right on the Magadi Main Road in Bangalore. This part of Bangalore is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. We specialize in bhajiyas and have been doing this for a while now. The setup is very simple. We have the big frying pots near the front so people can see the food being made fresh. When the Bangalore weather gets a bit cloudy or rainy, we get really busy because everyone wants something hot and fried. We go through a lot of onions and green chilies every day. My hands usually smell like onions even after I wash them ten times. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded when four or five people are waiting at the same time. We don't have fancy menus or waiters. You just come up, tell us what you want, and we give it to you on a piece of paper or a small plate. The traffic on Magadi Main Road provides a constant background noise of horns and engines. We don't mind it much. We just focus on the oil temperature and making sure the batter is the right thickness. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to dress it up with big words or promises. We are just here making bhajiyas every day.
