Nashville Education Foundation

The Nashville Education Foundation is based out of BK.NO 5 38, near the Buddhadev area. We are right on Karelibag Road in Vadodara. It’s a decent enough spot, though the traffic out front can be a real headache in the late afternoons when everyone is heading home. Most of us here have a background in teaching or just a general interest in how the kids in Vadodara are learning these days. We aren't some giant organization with a huge budget or fancy cars. We are just a group of people who thought that having an education-focused foundation right here in Gujarat-390018 made a lot of sense. We spend a lot of time looking at local school issues and trying to figure out where the gaps are for the students. The office is pretty basic, just some old desks and a lot of coffee cups that need washing. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing with the matching shirts. We’d rather just talk to parents and students about what they actually need. Sometimes we sit out on the small porch area when it's not too hot and just chat about the day's work. It’s steady work, nothing too exciting most days, but it feels like it’s worth doing for the town. We get people coming by asking why we named it Nashville, and honestly, it’s just one of those names that stuck for no particular reason. We’ve been at this for a bit now.
