Moji Gems is located at Plot Number 194 in the GIDC Industrial Estate at Ramangamdi. It’s a long way from the city center, but it’s where all the industry is. We have a solid building here. Inside, it’s mostly about the work. We deal with stones and gems. It requires a lot of focus and good light. We aren't big on talking about ourselves. We just show up every morning and get to it. The GIDC area can be pretty dry and hot, but we have our setup inside. We don't have a glossy office with leather chairs. We have workbenches and tools. Most of us have been doing this for a long time, so we know the trade well. We don't put out advertisements in the papers. Our business comes from the people we’ve worked with for years. They know where we are. Ramangamdi is a quiet place once the sun goes down, but during the day, the estate is full of life with people moving about. We like the routine of it. We keep things simple and don't try to be something we aren't. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a family business when you’re actually inside the workshop. We just do our bit and keep moving forward. Every stone we handle gets the same amount of attention, no matter what. It’s just the way we have always done things.
