Mini Bazar

Mini Bazar is just a small shop located on R V Desai Road in Vadodara. We are found right near the local police station in that area. The name might make it sound like a big market, but it is really just a small room packed with as many things as we can possibly fit inside. R V Desai Road is a very busy street with a lot of other shops and family houses all mixed together. Because we are small, we have many items hanging from hooks on the ceiling just to save some space on the floor. You really have to watch your head sometimes when you are walking through the aisles. I keep a small wooden desk in the back corner where I sit to do all the accounts and paperwork. There is always a lot of noise from the motorbikes and scooters passing by outside, especially in the late evenings. I like to sit out on the front step on an old wooden crate when there are no customers inside. You get to see a lot of the local neighborhood life from that spot. The police officers from the station nearby often stop in to buy a pack of biscuits or some matches. We have been at this address for a very long time now. The walls probably need a new coat of paint, but we stay busy. There is always something that needs to be restocked or moved around.
