Merryland Party Plot

People usually find us because they are looking for the M S Hostel or just following the Narmada Canal. We are tucked right behind Parulnagar Society. It’s a pretty large open space where we host a lot of local functions. Mostly it is weddings and some birthday parties. The ground is just grass and some paved areas for the food stalls. We don’t have any fancy office here, just a small room where we sit and talk to people about dates. The canal is right beside us so sometimes there is a bit of a breeze in the evenings which is nice during the summer months. You can see the hostel from the back side of the plot. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy after an event is over. There is always some cleaning to do. It’s not a complicated business. People come, they see the space, and if they like the size of the plot, they book it. The address is quite specific but sometimes people get lost looking for the society entrance. We tell everyone to just look for the canal road. It's quiet back here compared to the main city roads. We’ve been in Vadodara for a while now and most of the neighbors know where we are. It is just a simple place for people to get together and celebrate whatever they have going on in their lives. Nothing more to it really.
