Mahagauri Charitable Foundation

We’ve been set up here at Prasanna House for a while now, right on the third floor. If you know the Akota area, we are just across from Radha Krishna Park. It’s a nice enough spot, though the stairs can be a bit much some days when the elevator is acting up. Most of the time, it’s just a few of us sitting around desks, handling paperwork and trying to keep things organized. We started this because we saw things in the neighborhood that needed doing. It wasn't some big grand plan, just a realization that we had the space and some time to spare. People drop by sometimes to ask what we do, and we just tell them we're trying to help out where it makes sense. The office isn't anything fancy. We have some old chairs and a lot of files stacked up everywhere. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it after a while. We spend our mornings going through requests and seeing who needs a hand with what. It’s mostly just local stuff. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. We’ve known each other for years, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the list of things to get through. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy enough.
