Khushbu Departmental Store

We've been running Khushbu Departmental Store here at 6 Yogi Center for quite some time now. It’s right on the Main Road Gotri, just opposite the Aishwariya Building. If you live around Gotri in Vadodara, you probably know where we are. Most days start early for us. We get the shutters up, sweep the front, and start checking what needs to be restocked on the shelves. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything from pulses to soaps, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit loud, especially in the evenings, but it brings people in. We see the same faces every week, neighbors stopping by for milk or something they forgot for dinner. It’s a busy spot. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes boxes pile up in the corner when a new delivery comes in. That’s just how it goes in a small shop. Dealing with different suppliers takes up a lot of my morning. Then the afternoon is usually a bit quieter before the school crowd and people heading home from work start showing up. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. Just regular shelves filled with stuff people actually need every day. Vadodara heat can be tough in the summer, but we stay busy. Being right here in Gotri makes us part of the daily routine for a lot of families nearby. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop.
