Kathlal Oil Mill

Kathlal Oil Mill is situated at 12-Monali Society-1, right on VIP Road in Karelibaug. It is a bit of an interesting location because we are surrounded by more residential buildings, but we have been here long enough that everyone is used to us. Our mill is not a huge facility. We have a couple of oil presses and a small area where we fill bottles and containers for our customers. The smell of fresh oil is always present, which some people like and others find a bit strong. We get a lot of walk-in customers from the nearby apartments and houses in Karelibaug. They often bring their own empty bottles for us to fill up. We don't have any polished sales pitches or corporate branding. It’s just us doing the work every day. The machines need a lot of attention, and we spend a fair amount of time keeping them lubricated and running right. Sometimes we get a big order that keeps us busy late into the evening, but mostly we stick to a regular schedule. The office part of the mill is just a tiny desk with a ledger and a telephone. We prefer to spend our time out where the machines are. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. We just focus on making the oil and getting things out the door on time. Most people appreciate that about us.
