Jay Ambe Provision Store

Jay Ambe Provision Store is our shop on Harni Road in Vrundavan Colony, which is quite close to Race Course Road. It’s a nice neighborhood where most people know each other by name. We sell the basic stuff that people need for their houses like flour, rice, soap, and snacks for the kids. Most of our customers live right here in the colony, so we see the same faces every single morning when they come to pick up milk or bread. It feels more like a community hangout than a big store. We do not have those fancy scanners or shopping carts, just a simple counter and some wooden shelves that we keep as full as we can. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and we have to tell our regulars to come back in an hour for their favorite brand of biscuits. It gets a bit crowded in here during the evening when people are coming back from work and realize they forgot to buy something for their dinner. We have been here at Harni Road for a long time, so the floor is a bit worn out in the spots where people stand the most. We do not mind that much because it shows we have been busy. We like chatting with the aunties and uncles who stop by for their weekly supplies. The traffic from Race Course Road doesn't bother us much since we are tucked away.
