Jasol Provision Store

Jasol Provision Store is over in Subhanpura on B J Deorukhkar Road in Naigaon. The shop is in an old building that has been here for a long time. We sell the regular groceries that everyone needs like rice, lentils, and cooking oil. The space is pretty small, so we have to stack the bags high against the walls. It smells like spices and old paper inside. We don't have any big fancy displays or neon signs out front. The street outside is always noisy with cars and bikes passing by on B J Deorukhkar Road. We get a lot of dust coming in through the door, so we spend a lot of time dusting the jars. Most of the people who shop here have been coming for years. We know their families and what they like to buy. It is a lot of manual work, lifting heavy sacks and weighing out grains for customers. My back gets tired by the end of the shift, but that is just part of the routine. We open early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and stay until late. Jasol Provision Store is just a small part of the Naigaon community. We don't do anything special or flashy. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for the next customer to walk through the door. It is a steady life and it keeps us busy every single day without fail. The routine stays the same.
