J & E Hall International

Our office for J & E Hall International is located at 301 in Valentina Residency 1. It’s inside the Shantikunj Society, right across from the P.F. Office in Akota. It is a pretty easy spot to find if you know that landmark. Being in an apartment-style building makes it feel a bit more like a home than a stiff corporate office. We have a few rooms set up for different tasks. One room is mostly for files and another is where we keep the desks and computers. Since we are on the third floor, we get a decent view of the street below. Akota is a lively area, and there is always some traffic noise from the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle a lot of the international side of things from here, mostly coordinating and making sure the paperwork is in order for the refrigeration equipment. It’s a lot of emails and phone calls to people in different time zones. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which isn’t so bad for a bit of exercise. We are a small team here, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have a cafeteria, so we usually just bring our lunches from home and eat together in the small break area near the window. It’s a simple way to work. We just focus on getting the day’s tasks finished so we can head home on time.
