About Hiya Food Industries – Food & Beverages in Vadodara
We are based out in Davol, which is in the Borasad Taluka of Kheda. It’s a quiet area, mostly fields and small houses around us. Being Hiya Food Industries means we are pretty much tied to the seasons and what’s happening in the local farms. Our facility is right there in the village, so most of the people working here are from around the area. It’s a simple setup. We take the raw stuff and process it into what it needs to be. There isn't any fancy technology here, just the machines we've used for years. The air is better here than in the cities, but the work is still hard. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the temperature is right for the food processing. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the monsoon when the roads to Davol get a bit muddy and slow things down. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There aren’t any big meetings or corporate presentations. It’s just about getting the product ready and sent out to the markets. People in the village know us, and we know them. It feels more like a community effort than a big business. We take pride in just getting through the day's quota and making sure everything is handled right. It's just a regular life for us here in Kheda. We don't need much else.
