Hitesh Provision Store

I've been running Hitesh Provision Store here on the Main Road in Vadodara for a while now. It is right in the Patra Ni Chal area, which stays pretty busy most of the day. Every morning I get here early to pull up the shutters and sweep the front because the dust from the road just gets everywhere. It's a small place, but we keep most things people need for their kitchens, like different types of dal and bags of rice stacked up. I usually sit on my wooden stool near the counter and wait for the regulars to come by. Some people just stop for a quick pack of biscuits or some matches while they are passing through 390001. It gets hot in the afternoons, so I keep the fan going, but it doesn't do much. You see the same faces every day, mostly neighbors who live just down the lane. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Things are just kept in jars and on the shelves where I can reach them easily. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road when they bring new sacks of flour, and the traffic gets a bit loud. It is just a normal shop where we try to have what people ask for. I know most of the kids around here who come in for a single piece of chocolate or a small toy. That is how life goes on this part of the road every day.
