Himani Provision Store

Our store is sitting right on Laxmipura Road in the Gorwa area of Vadodara. If you know where the SBI Bank is, we are just opposite that in Dhanlaxmi Tenament. It’s a handy location for people living in the tenements around here. We’ve been here for several years, providing the usual provisions like rice, oil, and cleaning supplies. Being across from the bank means there’s always people around, which is good for us. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We try to keep the most popular items within easy reach. The weather in Vadodara can be tough, especially in the summer, but the shop stays relatively cool inside. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s nice to have that connection with the community. We aren’t trying to be the biggest store in town, just a reliable one for the local residents. We do our own inventory and handle the customers ourselves. It’s a direct way of doing business. Sometimes the traffic on Laxmipura Road makes it hard to park, but people still manage to stop by. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s a rhythm we’ve settled into over the years. We hope to stay right here at number 9 for a long time yet.
