If you walk down Mill Road in Bajwada, you’ll find us near the Kalya Nraiji Mandir. Heni General Stores has been a part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. We sell the usual things people need for their homes. It’s a typical general store, nothing too fancy to look at. The shelves are packed tight because we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. It can get a little cramped when a few people are inside at once, but we manage fine. Knowing most of our customers by name is common since they live just around the corner or come by after visiting the temple. The morning is usually our busiest time when everyone is getting their supplies for the day. Big sales pitches or marketing tricks aren't used here. We just put the prices on the items and help people find what they’re looking for. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the road for a minute, but the neighbors are patient with us. It’s a local life here. Opening the shutters early and staying open until the evening air cools down is the daily plan. It is just a regular shop run by regular people who appreciate the routine of the day. Being near the mandir gives the place a good feel and keeps us grounded in the community.
