Harshad Provision Store

Harshad Provision Store is located on the IOC Road over in Dandia Bazar. It is a small corner of the world. It is our corner. We sell the basic things people need for their kitchens and homes every day. Most of our customers are our neighbors. They have been living in Dandia Bazar as long as we have. We open up early. This helps people grab what they need before they head off to work or school. The shop is full of bags of rice and lentils. All sorts of household goods are stacked up to the ceiling. It is not the most organized place in the world. We have a system that works for us, though. When it gets busy in the evenings, the store can feel a bit small. We manage to help everyone eventually. We don't do any fancy advertising. Everyone around here already knows where the IOC Road is. They know where we sit. It is a simple life running a provision store. We enjoy the chats we have with people over the counter. We hear all the local news. We keep up with what is happening in the families around here. It is more about the people than just the items on the shelves. We plan to stay at this spot for as long as we can. We just provide the basics to the community. We keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a good living.
