Hari Om Store

Our shop is located at Shop No. G 1,2, right on the ground floor in Nizampura. Being so near to the Shree Govardhan Nathji Haveli means there is always a lot of activity and people walking by. Hari Om Store is basically a place where we keep the daily essentials. It is not a huge supermarket or anything like that, just two shop units we have joined together to make more room. We spend a lot of our time just arranging items on the shelves so people can see them. It gets a bit cramped in here whenever a new delivery truck arrives. We have a routine that has worked for us for years. We open up early, sweep the front step, and wait for our regulars to show up. The Haveli brings in a lot of visitors from outside, so the street is never really quiet. We actually like the energy of Nizampura. It gets a bit dusty, and the heat can be pretty tough in the summer months, but we have a ceiling fan that keeps things moving. Our customers are mostly local families who live in the surrounding streets. We know most of them by their names. It is a simple way to make a living and stay involved in the community. We do not have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. It is just us here at the counter, day in and day out.
