Govrdhan Store

We are located at Wel Come Fleets, right behind Dinesh Mill in the Akota area of Vadodara. This part of the city has a mix of offices and homes, so we see all kinds of people throughout the day. Govrdhan Store isn’t a very big place, just a standard local shop where you can grab the things you forgot to buy at the big market. We have snacks, cold drinks, some basic groceries, and household items like light bulbs or cleaning supplies. The shop stays quite cool in the mornings, but by the afternoon, the Vadodara heat starts to creep in. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on for the news or some cricket. There’s no big staff here, usually just one of us sitting at the counter. We know most of the people who live in the buildings behind the mill. They come in for a quick packet of milk or some cigarettes. The shelves are made of simple metal, and we try to keep things organized, but it often gets messy when new stock arrives. We don't use any fancy software to manage the store; it’s all done manually. The street is usually busy with people commuting, so there’s always a bit of noise from the traffic. It’s a straightforward business. We just open the shutters in the morning, sell what people need, and close up when it gets dark. No frills, just a regular neighborhood shop doing its thing.
