We’ve been at Plot No. 720 and 721 for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot. We handle food processing, mostly freeze-drying stuff. It’s a lot of work getting the fruit and veg ready. The machines run pretty much all day. We started small, just a few of us here in the warehouse area. Now there are more hands on deck, but it still feels like the same old place. We don’t spend much time on fancy offices or anything like that. Most of our day is spent out on the floor making sure the batches are coming out right. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a big shipment of produce arrives at the gate, but we manage. People know us for being down to earth. We just focus on what needs to get done. The location isn’t hard to find if you’re looking for those plot numbers. We’ve seen the area change over the years. Some neighbors left, others came in. But we’re still here, doing our thing. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. We try to keep the equipment in good shape, though there’s always something that needs fixing or a floor that needs a quick sweep. It’s just a normal workday for us. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the weather or the traffic while we work. That’s pretty much us.
