Out here in Lilora, things move a bit slower than in the big cities, which suits us just fine. Our place is near Jarod, and if the wind blows the right way, you can sometimes catch a scent of whatever we are working on that day. It is mostly about the powders and liquids that go into food. We spend a lot of time in the lab area or back in the warehouse where the big drums are kept. It gets hot in Gujarat, especially in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before the sun is right overhead. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can do our work without being bothered. We have a few people from the local village who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in the small break room, usually talking about the rains or the local news. It is honest work, making sure the quality is right and the batches are consistent. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the flavors and getting the orders out to the trucks that pull up at the gate. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, but we get through it eventually. It is just a regular day-to-day operation here in the Jarod area. We keep our equipment clean and our processes simple. There is no need for anything more complicated.
