Gangadhar Store

Gangadhar Store is located in the Ravikunj Complex in the Alkapuri area of Vadodara. Alkapuri is a pretty busy part of the city, and being in a complex means we have neighbors all around us. Our shop is just one of many in the building, but we’ve been here long enough that people know our faces. We sell the usual general store items that people need for their homes. It’s a compact space, so we have things stacked quite high on the metal shelves. You have to be careful not to knock anything over when you’re looking around the narrow aisles. Vadodara is a fast-moving place, but in our shop, we try to take things a bit slower. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who have been coming to us for years. The complex has its own rhythm, with people coming in for work or shopping throughout the day. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a simple one with the name. Running a store in Alkapuri means we see a lot of different people. Some are in a big hurry, and others want to stay and chat for a bit about the news. We just try to get everyone what they need.
